Overview

OSHC Coordinator - Extend After School Care at St Michael's College, Beverley, South Australia. Casual position. Base pay range: A$37.00/yr - A$43.00/yr; Outside School Hours Care Service Coordinator; $37-$43 Per Hour + Superannuation. Get paid more Earn an extra 10% above award with the Workers Retention Payment.

The Extend Group, part of The Extend Group, is looking for an OSHC Service Coordinator to play, teach, and take care of children in a safe learning environment in Outside School Hours Care.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the service
  • Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value
  • Strong focus on child safety, supervision, and mandatory reporting
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options
  • Create an engaging and happy environment for children
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community
Shift patterns
  • Before School Care 06:30 AM – 08:30 AM
  • After School Care 02:35 PM – 06:00 PM
  • Vacation Care program with up to 6-hour shifts during school holidays
  • Monday to Friday (mandatory availability of 5 days per week)
  • Paid administrative time and regular training meetings

Pre-requisites (completed or studying towards)
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in children's services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care or equivalent
  • Current Employee Working with Children Checks (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Child Protection Training Certificate (RRHAN-EC) or willingness to obtain
