Overview

Care Worker position serving TRANSPAC clients across the Northern Beaches region (Manly, Newport, Avalon, Forestville, Seaforth and surrounding areas). The role supports older community members to maintain independence and wellbeing. Cert III qualified with at least 6 months of experience in a similar role is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showering and dressing
  • Assist clients with medications and mobility goals; support rehabilitation aims
  • Deliver complex care for high-need clients (e.g., dementia) and provide social/emotional support
  • Transport clients to activities or appointments and support family carers
  • Deliver home help services as part of the TRANSPAC roster (general household tasks as applicable)
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Open Australian Driver's Licence with own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support in Ageing
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
  • Vaccination proof against Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella, Influenza and COVID-19
