OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our Group Tax team at Steadfast. This compliance-focused role is responsible for managing the tax affairs of Steadfast Group Limited and its subsidiaries across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will be part of a collaborative team of six, working closely with internal finance teams, external advisors, and other support functions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional with strong corporate tax experience and a passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax obligations across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the US.
- Lead the group's Country-by-Country, Public Country-by-Country, and Pillar Two reporting requirements.
- Support the annual audit and financial statement preparation process.
- Conduct in-house tax due diligence for acquisition targets.
- Provide transactional tax support to the M&A team and external finance teams.
- Manage the FBT return process for subsidiaries.
- 5–7 years of corporate tax experience, ideally within a chartered accounting firm.
- Chartered Accountant designation or working towards qualification.
- Strong understanding of tax effect accounting principles.
- Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
