The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing and leading a team to successfully deliver cleaning services at Coles – Redbank Distribution Centre.

Work closely with your team to build strong relationships with our partner and provide exceptional service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake the general direction and supervision of the Cleaning Team members on shift.
  • Participate in the induction and training of new Team Members.
  • Oversee the maintenance of food safety and hygiene standards across all areas of the DC while adhering to all Health and Safety procedures.
  • Ensure the correct use of chemicals, equipment, and machinery by all team members.
  • Develop strong working relationships and a positive team environment.
  • Work with team members to ensure work schedules are completed to quality standards, within required time frames.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Have previous experience supervising cleaning team members, including roster management, ideally in the food service industry or commercial supply chain environment.
  • Hold a current driver's licence and vehicle (desirable).
  • Be able to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Possess intermediate to advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Be able to work flexible hours when required.
