Responsibilities- Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue through cold calling, on-site visits, sales tours, and community networking.
- Collaborate with the director of sales and marketing to create and plan the department budget, aligning sales objectives and strategies.
- Represent the hotel at industry tradeshows and conferences, adhering to budget and marketing plans.
- Identify new business leads by analyzing local market trends and competitor activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with major group and catering clients to grow market share.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Previous sales experience in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- 3+ years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in sales, preferably in hospitality.
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
