Pharmacy Melbourne Part Time Slade Pharmacy

Permanent part-time Saturday shift at one of Melbourne's largest pharmacies located at Epworth Private Hospital.

The Opportunity

We have a permanent part-time opportunity at our large pharmacy in Richmond. We are seeking a pharmacist who is eager to engage with patients beyond dispensing. Working each Saturday from 8:00am until 4:00pm, you will support several reputable IVF clinics and provide professional pharmacy services at the entrance to Victoria's largest private hospital.

You will be trained in the fertility realm to support patients and clinics. There are opportunities to expand your knowledge and skill set with satellite pharmacies within the clinics.

What makes this role unique is our integration with Epworth Hospital, enabling discharge medication counselling and deep patient engagement.

Hours

Permanent part-time position working each Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Key responsibilities
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Provide education and training to fertility patients
  • Prepare and counsel patients on discharge medications
  • Communicate with stakeholders (IVF clinics, doctors, nurses)
  • Monitor the accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy technicians
  • Provide various professional services
  • Counsel patients, carers and associated employees

Who are we looking for?

You'll:

  • Be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy.
  • Have availability to work the specified hours each Saturday.
  • Have strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
  • Have time management, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable with a diverse team.
  • Embrace change and commit to learning.
  • Value attention to detail and be able to work autonomously.
