The African Reef Hotel in Geraldton is looking for an experienced Cook to join the team. You will be working in an energetic, friendly environment with a dedicated Head Chef and team who are supportive and like a family. This is a fast-paced kitchen opportunity for a professional cook seeking variety and quality in a busy venue.
Responsibilities- Manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service.
- Take pride in food presentation and always ensure top quality.
- Maintain good verbal and written communication with colleagues and supervisors.
- Adhere to Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices.
- Be available for a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday.
- Work approximately 38 hours per week.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation.
- Qualifications or trade experience equivalent.
- Flexible and willing attitude with clear communication and customer service skills.
- Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation.
- Experience in busy commercial kitchens across a variety of cuisines and styles.
- Completed Trade Qualifications.
