
Clinical Nurse Consultant

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will lead clinical excellence, support complex decision-making, and ensure safe, compassionate care aligned with ethical, legal and professional standards.Provide expert nursing consultancy and direct/indirect care within the VAD Support Unit across a range of clinical settings.
Collaborate with Nurse Unit Managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based, person-centred, and safe service delivery.
Drive the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical guidelines, education programs and system-wide quality initiatives.
Act as a key clinical leader in VAD services, contributing to innovation, research, workforce capability, and service transformation.
About you: You are a highly skilled and compassionate nursing professional with a deep understanding of complex clinical, ethical, and legislative issues involved in Voluntary Assisted Dying.Demonstrated advanced clinical expertise and leadership in nursing practice, with the ability to support sensitive care decisions across diverse settings.
Proven ability to influence clinical service development, lead change, and promote evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Strong interpersonal, education and mentoring skills with the ability to build capability and confidence within healthcare teams.
