Transport Allocator (Contract Role) - Based in Minto.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Transport Allocator to oversee the scheduling of our asphalt fleet and heavy haulage operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing both internal and customer orders, planning and allocating mobile plant and asphalt deliveries to roadsides, as well as coordinating transport arrangements with both internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities: Efficiently schedule and allocate mobile plant and asphalt deliveries to roadsides.Take customer and internal orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Coordinate changes to transport arrangements, maintaining effective communication with both internal teams and external clients.Ensure operations comply with relevant transport legislation, including HVNL and OSOM.Oversee and manage the daily activities of both company-owned and subcontracted asphalt and heavy haulage fleets.Work proactively to identify and implement efficient transport solutions.
To be successful, you will have: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth, safe, and timely operations.A solid understanding of Transport Legislation, including HVNL and OSOM.Experience in coordinating and controlling the daily activities of both in-house and subcontracted fleets.A proactive mindset focused on driving efficient transport solutions.
