About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to lead the planning, optimisation, and innovation of our manufacturing operations.
This is a position that requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across plant operations.
Experience with EPS and cement based production.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our equipment, systems, and processes operate at maximum efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering activities relating to the performance, maintenance, and improvement of production systems.
Conduct detailed analysis of operational data, production schedules, and resource allocation to optimise workforce and equipment efficiency.
Oversee the design, construction, and modification of plant equipment and layouts to support business growth and sustainability objectives.
Establish and implement standards, policies, and procedures in line with engineering principles, quality assurance requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
Lead and manage projects relating to new plant designs, system upgrades, and equipment integrations.
Direct maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of plant infrastructure, machinery, and facilities.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes.
Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to deliver complex engineering solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
High attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial, or Production Engineering.
Minimum 5+ years of engineering or production experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) and cement-based production processes.
Demonstrated expertise in plant design, process optimisation, and large-scale project delivery.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering design software.
Knowledge in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.
Registration or licensing as a Professional Engineer (preferred).
Australia/New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship.
