Join us in shaping the future of aviation as we propel Melbourne Airport towards becoming Australia's favourite Airport destination.Key responsibilities:Partner with Category Managers to deliver category plans and sourcing strategiesSupport the end-to-end sourcing process-from scoping and tendering through to evaluation, negotiation, and awardHelp drive procurement excellence by streamlining documentation, improving processes, and embedding best practiceUndertake supplier cost and performance benchmarking, offering strategic insightsAssist in the development of our Supplier Relationship and Performance Management frameworkCollaborate with Finance to align procurement outcomes with budgeting and forecasting cyclesSupport the rollout and maintenance of our Procurement Platform and dashboardsProvide procurement guidance and training to internal stakeholdersContribute to key strategic initiatives and lead discrete improvement projectsThe successful candidate will have:Strong analytical and procurement experienceTertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience within the industryProficiency in Excel, Power Bi and procurement platformsExperience across a variety of spend categories and supplier arrangementsA solid understanding of procurement governance, policies, and risk managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to juggle competing priorities while keeping your eye on detailA proactive and collaborative mindset, always looking for ways to improveExperience in managing procurement data and performance reporting is highly regardedAbout the Company:Melbourne Airport (Australia Pacific Airports Corporation) is proud to be one of Australia's premier transport hubs and Victoria's gateway to the world, connecting us to the global marketplace.
