About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to contribute to advancing research in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), and Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome (BMFS). You will assist in developing and maintaining clinical databases for patients with these conditions, supporting critical research activities that shape the future of treatment and care.

You will work closely under the direction of the Head of AML MDS/Research Group, playing an integral part in data management and analysis to support groundbreaking research. Your role will ensure that all research activities align with up-to-date ethics and governance approvals, contributing to the smooth delivery of high-quality research support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain clinical databases for patients with AML, MDS, and BMFS.
  • Support critical research activities that shape the future of treatment and care.

About You

You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for research. You have strong analytical skills and a commitment to contributing to groundbreaking research. You possess expertise in database management and data analysis, with a proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Health Science, Allied Health, Nursing, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in database management, data collection, analysis, and statistical reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and provide clear, concise reports and briefings.
