You will manage key relationships, drive retention and modest new business growth, and lead a capable team of 2x Account Executives within a well-supported environment.

Responsibilities: Manage and sustainably grow a book in excess of $1 M revenue, heavily focused on transport, but also includes industries like wineries and labour hire.
Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service, proactive communication, and year-round engagement.
Negotiate renewals, manage complex placements, and act as a strategic advisor to clients.
Supervise and mentor two experienced Account Executives who provide daily support on the portfolio.
Contribute to business development initiatives and support cross-marketing activities.
Handle high-value clients with revenue ranging from $50 K–$250 K (equivalent to $500 K–$2.6 M in premiums).
Act as the client advocate throughout the claims process, ensuring timely and favourable outcomes.
Maintain compliance with insurance legislation and continuously develop technical knowledge.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Account Manager or Account Director in General Insurance Broking.
Strong commercial lines experience, particularly with transport-related clients.
Diploma of Financial Services or relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable.
Demonstrated success in client retention, new business development, and people leadership.
High attention to detail with a commitment to quality service delivery.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to delegate effectively and develop junior brokers.
