Compas Pty Ltd is seeking a high-impact Senior Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience across Microsoft Desktop & Server technologies to contribute to large-scale ICT operations and digital transformation projects.


About the Opportunity:


  • This 12-month contract (with possible 24-month extension) offers a chance to work in a dynamic tech team managing and maintaining Microsoft infrastructure environments.
  • You will provide technical support during project build, testing, and solution deployment, as well as execute regular maintenance, backups, updates, and security tasks.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders and contribution to system documentation and problem resolution are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Manage and maintain Microsoft infrastructure environments (Windows Server/Desktop, M365, Active Directory)
  2. Provide technical support during project build, testing, and solution deployment
  3. Execute regular maintenance, backups, updates, and security tasks
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to system documentation and problem resolution

Requirements:


  • At least 5 years' experience in Microsoft infrastructure engineering
  • Expertise in technologies like SCCM/MECM, Azure, Intune, and Group Policy
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation for routine admin tasks
  • Hold or be eligible for NV1 security clearance
