Senior Or Principal Hygiene Consultant

RED OHMS Group is a leadingconsultancy servicing the resources, oil/gas, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, education, infrastructure, and federal/state/local government sectors across Australia.
We specialise in providing occupational hygiene, environment, and hazardous materials services, training, support, and solutions for our clients.
The opportunity We have a team of eight Certified Occupational Hygienists, four Certified Industrial Hygienists and several SMEs for various occupational hygiene disciplines within a national team of approximately 100 employees.
Our leadership, technical, operations and capital support are based in Perth (Head Office), Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin and Kalgoorlie.
Our business is growing So we are looking for Senior and/or Principal Occupational Hygiene Consultants depending on expertise and experience to join our team in Perth.

You are someone who thrives working autonomously whilst also contributing to the team – leading and mentoring when required and communicating effectively at all levels.
You are a proven professional with experience in the following:
• Conducting health and hygiene risk assessments
• Creating health and hygiene management plans
• Experience and skills in the operation and execution of industry related equipment e.g., for fibre, dust, weld fume, and volatile organic compound sampling
• Conducting noise surveys and noise dosimetry
• Project management skills – planning, preparing & executing hygiene monitoring programs
• Experience in researching occupational hygiene issues and providing pragmatic solutions to our clients.
You will bring:
• A postgraduate qualification relevant to Occupational Hygiene (other qualifications in science or a related discipline is desirable)
• Full membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene (AIOH) or equivalent international organisation.
• Candidates with CIH and International Certificate in Occupational Hygiene (ICert OH) or equivalent international qualifications will be looked upon favourably.
• High flexibility with working arrangements – site travel according to client requirements is essential
• A willingness to learn and be mentored by COHs; and to guide and mentor technicians, junior consultants, and other hygienists
• Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
