Role Title Warehouse Operative Reports To Warehouse & Facilities Manager Location Northern Cross Business Park / Finglas Purpose of Role The Warehouse Operative will handle materials, manage deliveries, and support internal and external customer requests, adhering to high standards of quality, health, and safety.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities This Job Profile outlines main duties and responsibilities but is not exhaustive.
Receive materials, update inventory management systems, and store and allocate received materials according to company procedures, ensuring stock rotation by expiry dates.
Pick, pack, and dispatch materials to internal and external customers, ensuring stock quality and condition.
Transport dispatched materials efficiently, safely, and accurately.
Store stock correctly and safely within the warehouse and conduct stock takes.
Operate material handling equipment safely.
Liaise with internal and external parties on logistical issues.
Perform warehouse administrative tasks, including scanning documentation.
Implement operational processes and adhere to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.
Participate in irregular cycle counting and year-end stock takes.
Handle biohazardous returned goods as needed.
Carry out duties efficiently and safely, including manual handling and storage.
Maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse.
Perform other duties to support the team.
Role Requirements Good oral and written communication skills.
REACH License for Forklift and/or Order-Picker.
Strong numerical skills.
At least 2 years of warehouse or stores experience.
Organizational skills.
Understanding of health and safety issues.
Team-oriented mindset.
Preferred: Experience with barcode scanning systems.
