Responsibilities (Text Only)

Primary technical point of contact for potential customers during the sales process, owning and driving technical wins for security opportunities.
Deep technical understanding of cloud security architectures, solutions/technologies including Microsoft M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and expertise in extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust, and cloud security solutions and architectures.
Remediate blockers; lead and ensure technical wins for Microsoft Security and adjacent technologies.
Engage proactively with customers, building credibility as a trusted advisor for Microsoft Security.
Facilitate handoff to customer success for post-sales deployment.
Develop strategies and recommendations to improve the client's security posture.
Shape technical win plans and tailor Microsoft messaging for security opportunities.
Enhance team capabilities in XDR, zero trust, and cloud security.
Develop differentiated competitive strategies for Microsoft Security for assigned customers.
Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture design sessions.
Explain, demonstrate, and architect solutions to address customer security challenges and priorities.
Drive support across workloads for Microsoft security solutions.
Use insights and coaching to align new or evolving technology with customer security needs.
Engage with internal and external teams throughout the sales cycle.
Support partner engagement in sell-with scenarios to scale solution delivery.

Qualifications (Text Only)
Minimum Experience

5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years of relevant experience.
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years of relevant experience.
OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience

6+ years in technical pre-sales, consulting, or technology delivery.
4+ years experience with cloud/hybrid/on-premises infrastructures, architecture design, migrations, standards, or technology management.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
7+ years of related experience.
Experience with cloud computing models (Iaa S, Paa S, Saa S) and familiarity with cloud security standards (CIS, NIST, CSA).
Passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
Certifications in Microsoft 365 Security Administration or Azure Security preferred.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, IAAP preferred.
Experience with SIEM systems, web application firewalls, threat detection, log analysis, incident response, and cloud security architectures (Zero Trust, cloud posture management, workload protection, code security, entitlement management).
