Academics in the Department deliver high quality teaching and conduct high quality research.About The OpportunityDeliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contribute to curriculum design and assessment, and support student learning and experience.
Conduct impactful independent and collaborative research, publish in top-tier journals, secure external funding, and mentor junior colleagues and research students.
Participate in academic governance, represent the university in external engagements, support diversity and inclusion, and contribute to departmental leadership and administration.
About YouHold a Ph D or equivalent in Accounting.
Demonstrated interest in research in the areas of financial accounting, accounting information systems, auditing, and / or taxation.
Evidence of high-quality research outputs consistent with the level of the position.
Evidence of an ability to guide the direction and supervision of postgraduate students to completion and be willing to supervise honours or postgraduate research projects.
Demonstrated interest in the application of business analytics tools (including Python, R, Excel, and Tableu) to accounting and finance-related problems, together with an ability to teach with those tools would be highly valued.
Demonstrated interest in teaching in the areas of financial accounting, auditing and/or taxation.
Demonstrate a significant personal contribution and commitment to high quality teaching and learning, including prior teaching experience.
