The Opportunity This is a full-time permanent role ( 6am start ).
Due to continuous growth, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to be an integral part of our manufacturing process.
Your responsibilities may include, based on your experience:- Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch and assemble various fabric components- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate stitching and assembly- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality- Inspect finished products to maintain quality standards and identify any defects- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets- Always follow safety guidelines and report any risks immediately- Manual Handling – up to 25 Kgs About you The successful applicant will have proven experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist or in a similar role.
As well as: - Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and understanding technical drawings- Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high-quality standards- Ability to work efficiently in a team-based manufacturing environment- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques or machinery- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing setting On Offer You will join a friendly, supportive team where you will be given opportunities to learn and grow your skills, with possible longer-term career options within the organisation.
