Taking on the role of Portfolio Manager with our Global Network Banking (GNB) business, your focus will be to provide banking services to subsidiaries of CIB customers, delivering consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the goal of deepening our existing client relationships.
In doing so, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, whose headquarters bank with HSBC in other countries, targeting superior customer service and upselling to improve revenue growth.
Based in Sydney, this role will give you a great opportunity to broaden your corporate banking experience with a large internationally focused portfolio.
This will provide you with new challenges, as you work across our full suite of commercial banking products as well as financial crime and credit risk management.
Your main responsibilities will include: Developing effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipating customer needs and providing a superior quality service to position HSBC as the market leader in this segment.
Delivering a high quality service by owning customer engagement, striving for excellence in all interactions with customers or other professionals, and always acting according to the highest professional standards.
Establishing a close working relationship with the HSBC Compliance team and effectively managing AML risks.
Onboarding new facility clients and conducting annual reviews to ensure credit risks are effectively managed.
Growing sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio and through targeted onboarding of new customers.
Working collaboratively with other Global Businesses, Product and Service Partners to identify opportunities to connect customers to opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
