The Diversity Teacher Role

In our Catholic Learning Community, we are seeking a skilled and adaptable Diversity Teacher to work with students in Years 7-12. This permanent full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement school programs with a focus on diversity and inclusion
  • Assist classroom teachers in identifying and supporting vulnerable students
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with additional needs
  • Model inclusive teaching practices and provide professional learning opportunities for staff

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in inclusive education or similar
  • Extensive experience as a classroom teacher, preferably in upper primary or secondary settings
  • Expertise in literacy and numeracy support programs or willingness to learn
