Base pay range A$39.00/hr - A$39.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Adecco Payment Operations Specialist – Global Banking (Australia Region)We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payment Operations Specialist to join a leading global financial institution's Australia-based team within Global Banking.
This role is instrumental in driving the successful rollout of payment operations initiatives across the region, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting critical implementation projects.
Lead and manage payment operation projects across the Australia region.
Support the rollout and implementation of payment solutions within the branch, including identifying local requirements and enhancements.
Serve as a key local contact for all payment operations-related matters.
Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate solution integrity, and coordinate resolution of issues.
Monitor and manage operational defects and escalation processes.
Collaborate on management reporting, issue escalation, and risk management.
Conduct analysis of payment process flows to optimize operational efficiency.
Deliver post-implementation support and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ongoing operational queries across the region.
Ensure full operational readiness ahead of project go-lives, including staff training and documentation updates.
Support day-to-day operational tasks including reconciliations, reporting, and daily payment processing.
What You'll Bring Proven experience in payment operations or financial services project execution.
Strong understanding of payment processing systems and operational workflows.
Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to engage across multiple stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
Experience managing UAT cycles and supporting operational readiness activities.
