Your opportunity AsSenior Insights Analyst, you will be responsible fordefining and achieving the desired business outcome with the business, sharing building the analytical outputs with Group Digital.
You will create diagnostic dashboards that enable our Asset Management teams to make data-driven decisions across the whole platform, such as lease negotiations, tenant retention strategies, and capital improvement prioritisation, as well as report automation that provides market leading analysis to our owners and drives scalability and cost reduction.
You will work closely with Group Digital, who provide the data, analytical models, and appropriate data security.
Where Group Digital also builds the analytical output, you will be responsible for ensuring it meets the business need.
As we mature towards advanced analytics capabilities over the coming years, you will be instrumental in developing predictive models that create competitive advantage, differentiating our platform and attracting new capital, thereby generating the flywheel effect of increased assets under management, corresponding scalability and revenue growth.
The role is critical to unlocking the full potential of recent investments in systems and data analytics infrastructure.
In this highly visible and interactive role you will join a small team that is the face of insights in Asset Management.
Your responsibilities will include: Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops across Asset Management to understand analytical requirements and translate business challenges into data-driven solutions – you own the requirements and the target outcome.
Solution Design & Development & Support Transform business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications and technical documentation for data solutions Collaboratively work with Group Digital to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reporting using Power BI, leveraging data from Snowflake and other enterprise systems Data Analysis & Insights Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within commercial real estate portfolios Conduct ad hoc analytical projects, such as customer segmentation analysis to identify high-value clients and revenue optimisation opportunities Create compelling data narratives and visualisations that communicate insights effectively to non-technical audiences Customer Engagement & Training Present analytical findings and dashboards to internal customers, incorporating feedback to refine solutions Deliver training sessions to end-users on new analytical tools and processes, ensuring successful adoption across the business Lead change management initiatives to transition stakeholders from legacy reporting methods to modern self-service analytics platforms Cross-functional Collaboration Actively participate in Analytics Community of Practice to build vibrant, effective team of analysts across the enterprise Continuous engagement with Digital teams to verify data pipelines, analytics models, and analytical outputs such as dashboards, reports and AI functions meet the need and provide the required business outcomes Advanced Analytics & Innovation (nice to have) Explore and implement predictive analytics solutions to forecast market trends, property valuations, and customer behaviour Develop machine learning models and statistical analyses to enhance business intelligence capabilities and drive competitive advantage Stay current with emerging data science techniques and evaluate their applicability to commercial real estate analytics Your point of difference 7+ years' experience similar insights analyst role Tertiary qualification in Technology, Data or equivalent is desirable Demonstrated experience of project delivery involving collaboration with technology/BI/data teams Experience working in agile development environments and project management methodologies Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX functions, data modelling, and custom visualisation Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from Snowflake data warehouse Experience with data preparation and cleansing techniques to ensure data quality and integrity Hands-on experience with Snowflake Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis, statistical modelling, and automation of analytical processes Experience with data manipulation libraries and visualisation packages Familiarity with version control systems (Git) for collaborative development Understanding of API integration and data connectivity protocols Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their data services Life at Mirvac 93% of our employees said that 'they were proud to work for Mirvac' Leadership and Professional Development Programs including Mirvac Masters Diverse workforce with over 25 ethnicities and 33 languages spoken Discounts across health, wellness, lifestyle, motor vehicle, travel, technology Rewarded with $1000 Mirvac Securities annually All of these attributes are preferred, if you think you may be the right fit for the role please still apply.
