Join to apply for the Principal Consultant - Modern Workplace role at LAB3 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Principal Consultant - Modern Workplace role at LAB3 Senior Talent Partner@LAB3 and Altra connecting great talent with Azure | Dev Ops | Security | Data & AI & 365 opportunities in New Zealand… Lab3 is one of the largest Azure engineering practices in the Australasia region with a focus on Cloud & Dev Ops, Data, Io T & AI, Modern Workplace, Modern Apps & Integration, Security, and Network services.We are on the hunt for a Principal Consultant with NV1 AGSVA security clearance with skills in modern workplace management, ideally including AVD, Intune, Power Apps, Purview, Teams & DSC and as much of the 365 suite as possible.This will ideally be a 6-12 month contract initially but we will be able to accommodate permanent employment for the right candidate.The RoleYou will lead technical client engagements, drive high level design, consult, undertake maturity assessments and delivery for our Modern Workplace practice.
These will address clients' requirements of scalability, reliability, security, operations and performance.
The role will utilise technology skills in the Modern Workplace Environment, primarily in a cloud environment but with migration and on-prem skills being useful, along with strong consulting skills.
Deliver professional services that leverage solutions in the Modern Workplace space that include including AVD, Intune, Power Apps, Purview, Teams & DSC and as much of the 365 suite as possible.
Provide consulting services across a range of facets including SOE, Modern Management and end to end IT governance/security reviews.
Evaluate emerging Modern Workplace technology, develop and evolve go-to-market professional services offerings to ensure customers capitalise on the latest technology in this space.
Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions for Azure Virtual Desktop engagements.
Develop Configuration as Code libraries surrounding M365 tenant standardisation – including Intune, SOE and standardised configuration of various aspects of M365 deployment.
Work with the Solution Architecture team to develop new products and services that leverage the latest Microsoft 365 services and dependencies, as well as providing technical governance and sign-off of projects and proposals.
Present to senior business & technology leaders, conduct workshops and review architecture.
Assist the presales team by providing them expertise in this field.
The Right CandidateWill have a deep and wide understanding of Modern Workplace tech including Microsoft Intune, AVD, Power Apps, Purview, Teams & DSC and as much of the 365 suite as possible.
Strong consulting acumen and the ability to design & present the optimum business solutions to stakeholders Experience running workshops with key stakeholders, the ability to talk to technical and business heads with equal ease Experience with delivery management Certifications in Microsoft 365/MS 500 / MS101/ MS 365 Mobility/ AZ 900 preferred Ideally, you should be available or an immediate start AGSVA security cleared, at least NV1 Based anywhere in Australia, ideally in Canberra but we are open to other locations What's in it for you?Become part of Australasia's largest Azure engineering practice where you can sharpen your expertise and contribute to the latest innovations in tech and services.
