The Business Launched in 2023, this funded Fintech software business is on a mission to help make the lives of Australian fund managers easier.
How do they do this? By providing them with a platform where they can manage all their fund operations in one place.
We're talking onboarding investors, raising capital, managing compliance, issuing distributions, tax statements, and everything else they need.
But why does that matter I hear you ask? By having all this in one place with one multifunctional software, they solve an industry wide problem that causes almost all of the administrative work of managing a fund for fund managers, small and large.
It gives them an opportunity to get away from expensive, clunky, legacy systems and give them the tools to help them and their customers i.e.
investors succeed.
In good news this company has been signing up new clients at an increasing rate- which brings us to this position.
Now, let's talk about the job: This is a Sydney based Implementation Consultant position where you will ensure that customers are technically onboarded correctly and set up with a tailored workflow to ensure a great customer experience.
Your customer base will primarily be fund managers, and you'll typically work with C-Level stakeholders in Operations and Technical teams.
This role is purely focused on onboarding new clients (no migrations).
Each client takes around 8-12 weeks to onboard.
About two thirds of your time will be spent on data migration and building the right workflow design, as approximately 70-80% of customers require customisation.
Needless to say you'll need to be a great problem solver to succeed in this role The job has elements of project management, business analysis and customer management (as you would expect).
You will be supported by a manager who has been in the business for years and is committed to creating excellent customer experience through problem solving and communication.
You: In some businesses you will be titled an Implementation Consultant, or you could be a Professional Services Consultant.
Hey, you might even be a Presales Solution Consultant who has worked with clients post sale You've got some experience- ideally 4+ years in implementing saas products with mid market – enterprise clients.
Ideally, you've either handled financial services software or have had exposure to the funds management industry too.
You're a great communicator- both verbally and in writing You can set and manage expectations, keep stakeholders to a time and a task and are engaged by working through problems.
You have excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills.
You are comfortable working in a high growth, ambiguous environment.
This is a (successful) start up where your results will have a visible impact on the company.
You are proactive and positive and want to bring your best efforts to work.
People with Saas implementation experience with fund management software solutions are of key interest for this role.
