Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance (NV1).Location:Canberra (ACT).Hybrid option within Canberra.Delivery Managers unblock issues, support the delivery team, and monitor and improve performance of the team.
They use agile methodologies, learning and iterating the product and processes frequently to meet user needs.
They work with Product Managers to define the roadmap for products and services, remove blockers and support the delivery team so that they can maintain delivery throughput.
The overall project is to produce and deliver design products on time to support the Department in receiving fit for purpose standard infrastructure.Key duties and responsibilities:Managing competing priorities, tasking's and deliverablesManaging stakeholders within the Branch, Department, Commonwealth and IndustryControlling and coordinating multiple projects and deliverablesManaging schedules, quality control, meetings and documentationManaging project stages from initiate to closureManaging the engagement of Subject Matter Experts as required to deliver the productsSpecified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department's recordkeeping policy and practices.The Specified Personnel will be responsible for producing the following deliverables, including but not limited to:Work plans.Schedules.All deliverables performed by the specified personnel must:Be performed or delivered promptly and without delay in accordance with the timeframes notified by the buyer from time to time.Meet the assessment and performance criteria set out in any monitoring and performance assessment processes notified to the seller from time to time.Technical skills:Demonstrated experience in monitoring and controlling resources and accurate recording of effort.Proven ability to work within a structured ICT and project management governance framework and deliver results that adhere to relevant Commonwealth standards and policies.ICT Communications, infrastructure & associated services, technical writing and drafting i.e.
Auto CAD.Methods and tools Level 4.Performance Management Level 5.Time management and prioritisation.Experience with design and delivery of ICT infrastructure projects.Demonstrated understanding of the PSPF and ISM.
