This role involves leading accredited health, safety, environmental, or quality audits for ERM CVS services, primarily in your local region with main work in the EMEA, NA, and APAC regions, including global travel.
The sectors include Oil and Gas, Mining and Minerals, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Technology, and Data Centres.
Main Responsibilities: Lead assessments according to ERM CVS procedures, prepare reports, and determine assessment conclusions.
Support and develop future lead assessors.
Participate in developing ERM CVS core competencies and processes, sharing knowledge proactively.
Support business growth by identifying and developing sales opportunities with ERM CVS Partners.
Key Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Knowledge: Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject or suitable health, safety, environmental, or quality professional education.
Understanding of management systems and standards like ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, and ISO9001.
Knowledge and application of ISO17021 and ISO17029.
Training to recognized standards for ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, and ISO9001; IRMA, ASI, or Copper Mark experience is advantageous.
Knowledge of data reporting, UK/EU ETS, SEMS requirements is a plus.
Understanding of EHS regulations across various sectors including oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, mining, pharmaceuticals, and technology.
Offshore training for work in the North Sea or Gulf of Mexico is an advantage.
Skills: Excellent organizational skills with successful audit delivery.
Strong client communication skills to build trust across organizational levels and cultures.
Confident and effective presentation skills.
Ability to recognize risks and opportunities, and prepare clear reports.
Coaching abilities for audit delivery.
Fluent English; additional languages like Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese are advantageous.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including: Operational, development, or assessment of management systems delivering services/products and reporting EHS performance.
Sector experience in: Oil and Gas, with understanding of ETS, SEMS, and supply chain auditing.
Mining and Minerals, with understanding of IRMA, ASI, Copper Mark, both open pit and subterranean.
Data Centres, with understanding of energy and EHS systems.
Manufacturing/Fabrication of goods, including transportation, machinery, household goods.
