Together with Caterpillar, we've been there for customers - selling and servicing the best equipment in the world - on land, at sea, in construction, mining and industry.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a trade qualified Field Service Diesel Technician to join our William Adams team based out of our Wodonga branch.This is a full-time permanent position, working a 5 x 2 (Monday - Friday) roster.If you enjoy the challenge of delivering outstanding customer service and problem solving, while ensuring value for money for our customers, this could be a perfect fit for you.Your typical day will include:Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding including; diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and enginesProviding outstanding customer service to our loyal customersCompiling and completing accurate reportingWorking autonomously to manage your time and maximise efficiencyMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentLiaising with our internal service and parts departmentMaintaining a William Adams service vehicleABOUT YOUTo be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:Be a qualified Diesel Technician with extensive experience with Caterpillar machines (or similar)Be able to service customers and their equipment to a very high standardHave advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge (great to have)A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethicA strong commitment to safety, health & environment proceduresHold a current Drivers and Light Rigid Licence (heavy vehicle licence is also highly regarded)Proven ability to be self-motivated and to work unsupervisedWHAT IS ON OFFER?
