Part-Time IT Technician Role

We are a rapidly expanding computer repair and managed services company seeking to add a dedicated and skilled individual to our team as we continue to grow.

This is a part-time contracting position available for the right candidate, ideally suited for recent graduates or others looking for part-time work.

The role involves working 3 days per week with some flexibility to move into 4 days. Scheduled days are Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday during the week, however this is a dynamic position and may change month to month.

Key Requirements:
  • A good operator
  • Own vehicle
  • ABN (for contracting invoicing)
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Open communicator
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • Current Police Check - or ability to get one
  • Patient and excellent customer service skills, especially when working with clients who have limited IT knowledge
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience with booking/scheduling software
Essential Qualifications:
  • Permanent, unrestricted work rights within Australia
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in PC troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in both Mac and Windows troubleshooting
  • Advanced knowledge of hardware technology, including building computers and understanding CPU chipsets
  • Experience with hard drive cloning and imaging technologies
  • Knowledge of backup solutions
  • Ability to work autonomously and also part of a team

Role Overview:
