Our client is a small-family based company in Braeside and they are a market-leader who specialise in rebuilding and servicing heavy diesel and mobile plant equipment.They are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Dispatch Storeperson to join their team.This position will be permanent full-time 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with occasional paid overtime.
Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hour (depending on experience)Responsibilities/duties will include: Receipt and processing of parts and engines Picking parts required for various operations Preparing and packing engines and spare parts for dispatch Loading & Unloading Parts & Engines onto trucks with the Hyster Forklift Organising freight pickup and managing shipping documentation Obtaining quotes for freight services Storing and organising parts returned from operations Keeping the store clean and orderly Liaising with administration regarding stock quantity discrepancies Entering dispatch details into the register Coordinating with the workshop about required consumables and organising purchase orders Managing materials and items required for parts store and dispatch activities Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in warehouse dispatch is essential Valid Victorian (or Australian equivalent) driver's license is required LF Forklift License is mandatory; experience with Hyster forklifts is a plus Knowledge of WMS/ERP systems (experience with Tencia Software is advantageous but not essential) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office functions is necessary Previous experience in the automotive or spare parts industry is highly desirable Physically fit and capable of manual labour Strong attention to detail Experience in picking and packing orders Ability to assist with stocktakes and other inventory initiatives Ensuring accurate recordkeeping and meticulous attention to detail How to Apply:Click the Apply Now button and follow the Application Process through or alternatively please email me directly on Matthew.
