In this role you will: Head up a team of tradesmen and apprentices to complete electrical projects in the water/wastewater space and food and beverage industries.
Coordinate site activities between their team, the Principal Contractor, and Sub-Contractors.
Manage Labour and materials efficiently.
Monitor site program and ensure all work activities are on schedule.
Conduct hazardous area inspections and compliance activities, ensuring all works meet relevant Australian standards.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues in hazardous and non-hazardous environments.

We expect that you will have a manual driver's license, excellent attention to detail and a high standard when it comes to your work.
A Bit About You Unrestricted Electrical Licence5+ years' experience as a qualified Electrician in industrial electrical work Electrical, instrumentation, and project commissioning experience.
Ability to perform electrical and instrumentation installation, maintenance, and commissioning across various industrial sites.
Experienced in troubleshooting and fault-finding working with various PLC, HMI, SCADA, and control system technologies.
EEHA (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas) certification.
Certificate III or IV Instrumentation.
HV Switching.
Confined space and working at heights tickets.
Reliable, hardworking and conscientious Unwavering commitment to code compliance and WHS requirements Excellent communicator who is comfortable working autonomously within a team Be comfortable leading, managing and up skilling apprentices as required Ability to work away in small stints.

You must have solid industrial electrical automation experience, ideally in projects.
Electrical, instrumentation, and project commissioning experience.
Fantastic attention to detail.
EEHA (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas) certification.
Experience in hazardous area compliance inspections and reporting.
Certificate III in Electro Technology – Electrician or equivalent qualification.
Certificate III or IV Instrumentation.
HV Switching.
