Machining Supervisor

About the Role As our Machining Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind a high-performing team of Machinists.
You'll oversee daily workshop operations across borers, lathes, drills, and mills — ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.
Beyond that, you'll play a key role in mentoring your team, building capability, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Provide technical guidance and advice to Machinists.
Plan, allocate, and oversee daily machining activities.
Manage materials, stock, and workflow to meet project deadlines.
Build and support a strong leading hand structure within the team.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to position RCR as an industry leader.
Deliver training and upskilling programs to develop employee capability.
Skills & Experience Australian-recognised Machining Trade qualification.
Comprehensive knowledge of machining tooling and systems.
Heidenhain and Fanuc control experience.
Forklift Licence.
Dogman / Rigger Basic (desirable).
Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (desirable).
Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
Solid understanding of quality and safety management systems.
