About the role
As the Maintenance Controller, you will oversee the branch workshop and provide exceptional service through maintenance and repair of small motor-powered equipment, adhering to our high standards.
You will also support other branches in equipment utilization and repair within the network as needed.
This role requires you to:
Perform operational equipment repairs and maintenance, ensuring documentation complies with Kennards' "Ready for Hire" standards
Manage the branch workshop, including equipment maintenance, parts ordering, coordinating Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) services, and task allocation for service personnel and drivers
Support other branches in equipment utilization and repair, possibly working at different locations
Perform branch facilities cleaning and maintenance as needed
Complete tasks assigned by the Branch Manager, Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, or Area Manager
Handle pickup, delivery, loading, and unloading of equipment
Be available to work weekends on a rotating roster
About you
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role with a proven track record in equipment maintenance and servicing
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions, both independently and as part of a team
Strong time management skills, including planning and rescheduling as needed
Valid Driver's license
