Senior Project Engineer – Structure

Lendlease ACT are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Canberra to help deliver the structural package of a major, long-term project.
In this position, you will play an integral role in managing and resolving the detail design of the building's structural packages, whilst managing a team, and subcontractors and suppliers to deliver a successful construction project.
This includes developing and maintaining construction programs, implementing the procurement strategy, value engineering, managing quality, overseeing financial and contract management, and ensuring high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
You will also provide guidance to junior staff on site.
To be successful you will need: 7+ years of experience working on-site in construction delivery as a Senior Project Engineer, or Project Manager.
Experience working on large scale building projects, ideally above $100m, and managing the delivery of complex structures packages.
Experience overseeing cost, quality, and environmental controls, and ensuring compliance and progress reporting.
Experience developing and maintain project programmes and ensuring effective planning and execution.
Experience resolving design issues and providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to identify problems and come up with creative solutions.
