Based out of Wollongong (with flexibility for Sydney base) we are seeking a professional to join our high performing and diverse local Geotechnical team.
Our team is unique in its exposure to a range of diverse projects across the civil, mining and quarrying sectors.

Our NSW geotechnics hub is based in Wollongong at the University of Wollongong's Innovation campus, a place where our key team members have chosen to live and work for the exceptional lifestyle without comprising their professional aspirations.
With 30+ staff in our office, our local team are technically diverse and range from Graduates to Technical Directors.

Responsibilities This role offers significant long-term career rewards and opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
The position offers the opportunity to : Work across multiple industries which include mining and resources, roads, rail, civil and industrial Working on a variety of interesting projects, undertaking a range of technical tasks, including : Complex geotechnical investigation Geological mapping Ground characterisation Terrain evaluation Landslide / Slope Risk Assessment Slope stability analysis Geotechnical design and slope remediation Construction and Project Management Learn from a diverse range of technical experts Build the confidence to challenge the norm with the objective of continuous improvement Experience The successful candidate will have the following attributes and experience :4-7+ years' hands on experience in Engineering Geology with tertiary qualifications in Geology, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering.
Experience in the Consulting industry and aspirations to build your career in this sector.
Ability to work in the field as well as interests in developing your technical skills.
Demonstrated technical autonomy working across multiple sectors.

Well-developed creative, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
