Responsibilities Provide clinical and administrative leadership, set professional standards, and contribute to workforce planning and clinical practice development.
Implement safety and quality processes to enhance service delivery across Liverpool Hospital and the South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD).
Maintain a clinical caseload reflecting experience and commitment to direct care.
Collaborate with the Head of Department and act as Acting Head of Department during periods of absence or leave to provide continuity and stability.
Lead with purpose to influence systemic change and improve outcomes for individuals and communities.
Where You'll Be Working Liverpool Hospital, a major health service for south-western Sydney with extensive clinical services and teaching affiliations, located near public transport and local amenities.

Qualifications and Experience A Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with extensive clinical and management experience in complex health settings.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including experience with financial, risk, staff supervision, and workforce management.
Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating quality/service improvement and research activities; commitment to professional development and staff training.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including advocacy and negotiation, with the ability to build effective partnerships across internal and external stakeholders and to supervise staff and lead team performance.
