Well-established in Australia, they are now seeking a commercially driven Managing Director to spearhead strategy, growth, and advancement.
The Role: As Managing Director, you will provide leadership, set strategic direction, and drive business success.
Managing the Australian Operation across R&D, Sales, Delivery, Operations etc this role requires broad thinking and strong commercial acumen.
You will influence sales strategy, pipeline development, and C-level partnerships, ensuring expansion and investment for growth.
With between 50 - 100 local employees in Australia, this is an organisation experiencing high growth.
Key Responsibilities: Lead business operations in alignment with corporate strategy and targets.
Define and implement short- and long-term business plans and objectives.
Influence sales strategy and oversee pipeline development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level customers.
Take corrective action for deviations from targets.
Oversee project coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
Drive business improvement initiatives.
Ensure financial performance and P&L responsibility.
Ensure compliance with ATO, employment, and governance regulations in Australia.
Oversee staffing needs and recruitment within budget constraints.
Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Managing Director, CEO, or General Manager.
Strong track record of business growth and profitability.
Experience in Technology Systems, Telecommunications (IP), Control Systems, Distributed Systems or is highly desirable.
Ability to facilitate at a high level, large, complex deals and negotiations.
Understanding of Public sector & large Enterprise Clients.
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
