Position Overview Vueterra is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Supply Chain Consultant that will play a critical role in delivering practical, data-driven solutions that optimise supply chain operations for Vueterra clients, with a strong focus on the mining and resources industry.
Using their extensive supply chain expertise, the consultant shall identify areas for improvement, enhance operational efficiency, and develop strategies that drive cost savings while maintaining high service levels for our clients.
Responsibilities Supply Chain Optimisation: Analyse and assess client supply chain operations to identify improvement opportunities.
Implement end-to-end operating models that enhance efficiency and align with strategic business goals.
Provide recommendations on inventory, procurement, and logistics best practices.
Process Improvement & Data Analysis Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover inefficiencies and develop actionable insights.
Use SAP and other ERP solutions to streamline operations and improve decision-making.
Develop and implement change management strategies to support process improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory Work closely with client stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand business needs and objectives.
Present insights, recommendations, and business cases to support supply chain transformation initiatives.
Train and mentor client teams on new processes and systems to ensure successful adoption.
Qualifications And Experience 1+ year of experience in supply chain consulting, optimisation, or a similar role.
1+ year experience in QLD and NSW heavy industry/mining sectors.
Strong expertise in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics.
SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, or other major ERP experience in inventory/supply chain modules.
Advanced data analysis and process improvement capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
