You'll work across the full system lifecycle, from development and testing through to real-world deployments.
What you'll do: Design, integrate, and support complex systems in real-world environments Develop and manage systems engineering documentation and artefacts Ensure compliance within structured quality frameworks (ISO 9001) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance Defence standards with commercial agility Contribute to process improvement and system traceability What we're looking for: 5+ years in systems engineering, ideally in complex defence-related tech Experience with structured documentation, traceability, and quality frameworks like ISO 9001 Strong analytical and systems thinking mindset Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex ideas clearly Organised, detail-driven, and capable of building great relationships across teams Experience in highly regulated industries such as Defence, aerospace, or critical infrastructure Citizenship preferred due to future clearance needs 12 weeks parental leave + hybrid flexibility Based in Sydney CBD (we encourage in-office collaboration with a high-performing team) Sound like you?
