The successful candidate will join a group of 29 Radiologists, including 5 Interventional Radiologists, covering multiple hospitals and clinics across Vancouver Island, serving a population of approximately 870,000.
Our facilities include two Siemens Artis Q interventional suites, providing a range of body interventional radiology services, diagnostic neuroangiography, and endovascular treatments for ischemic stroke.
The typical weekly schedule involves 2–3 days of Interventional Radiology and 2–3 days of General Radiology, including MRI, CT, US, X-ray, biopsies, drainages, and fluoroscopy.
Participation in interdisciplinary rounds and after-hours/on-call services (approximately 1 in 6) are required.
Applicants must hold RCPSC certification in Radiology (FRCPC), be eligible for full licensure with CPSBC, and possess an Interventional Radiology fellowship or relevant experience in EVT and willingness to learn endovascular treatments for ischemic stroke.
Locum work with the group is encouraged.
