Job Description Permanent / Max Term Gold Coast location This role is part of the $2bn 'UNITE' tech simplification program, the largest of its kind globally How will I help? This position sits within the Consumer Technology team and will be responsible for troubleshooting, optimising and delivering high quality banking products for our clients.Your key responsibilities will include: Identify and escalate defects found during testing according to set procedures to ensure timely resolution, minimizing impact on project quality and schedule.
Manage test infrastructure, execute automated tests, and continuously maintain automated test cases.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers.
Write and execute test cases.
Develop automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance mobile app performance.
Determine the automatable and non-automatable test scope for each Sprint/Release.
Perform both automated and manual validation/testing of banking apps on Mobile (IOS + Android), and desktop platforms.
Ability to write clear bug reports quickly and concisely and collaborate with developers to get them fixed.

Expert in web application automation using Selenium or Playwright.
Skilled in API testing tools like POSTMAN, Charles, and BURP.
Proven hands-on expertise in Java Script.
Familiar with programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or C#.
Proficient with CI/CD tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, and similar.
Adept at using code management tools like Git and equivalents.
Deep understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Experienced with test management tools like JIRA and X-Ray.
Proven track record in crafting test plans, strategies, cases, and reports.
Self-motivated and highly collaborative with business teams.
Certifications like ISQTB Foundation and ASQTB Mobile Testing are a plus.
