As part of our strategic growth, we are looking to bring employment law expertise in-house, transitioning from our current outsourced model.
The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Partner or Special Counsel to establish and lead the employment law desk within our practice.
This role is ideal for a senior employment lawyer with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
You will be responsible for managing all employment law matters within the firm, servicing our existing clients, and driving the growth of this practice area.
Key Responsibilities Develop and lead the employment law matters.
Advise corporate clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including workplace disputes, unfair dismissal claims, industrial relations, enterprise agreements, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with other practice groups, particularly litigation, corporate, and construction law teams, to provide holistic legal solutions to clients.
Support clients in the construction industry, leveraging our firm's marketing focus in this sector.
Mentor and develop junior lawyers as the employment law practice grows.
Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Stay up to date with changes in employment law and ensure clients receive proactive and strategic advice.
Key Requirements Experience in employment law, with a strong track record in advising businesses.
Experience working with clients in the construction sector is highly desirable.
Proven ability to generate business and build client relationships.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
A passion for innovation and delivering practical legal solutions.
Either an existing client base or a clear strategy to build the practice.
