As a Cyber Defence Analyst, you'll be at the frontline of monitoring, investigating, and responding to cyber threats, helping us build a stronger, smarter defence.
In this role, you will: Monitor, triage, and prioritise alerts, incidents, and threat intelligence outputs.
Investigate suspicious activity and assist with threat hunting.
Support incident response including containment, recovery, and post-incident reviews.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare reports and maintain playbooks, tools, and processes.
Analyse malware and vulnerabilities to enhance detection and defences.
About you We're looking for someone with: A relevant tertiary qualification (mandatory).
Professional certifications in SOC operations (preferred).
Previous enterprise-level experience in a similar role.
Scripting skills for automating security tasks and workflows.
Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel).
Strong understanding of system/cloud administration, firewalls, and EDR tools.
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, D3 FEND, YARA scanning, and deception technologies.
