You will provide exceptional support to our customers, focusing on resolving incident tickets efficiently and effectively to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of their systems.
Beyond reactive support, the role emphasizes a proactive approach to customer engagement, working closely with clients to identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies, helping them to enhance their systems and processes.
Building strong partnerships with our customers will assist them in achieving their overarching long-term strategies and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities : Incident Resolution : Provide expert-level support to resolve issues related to business systems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Proactive Improvements : Collaborate with clients to identify areas for improvement and implement proactive measures to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Strategic Partnership : Work with customers to understand their long-term goals and assist them in developing and executing strategies that leverage their application capabilities.
Technical Expertise : Utilize deep technical knowledge to support the design, development, and implementation of solutions.
Customer Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
Continuous Improvement : Stay current with the latest developments in Service Now, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Team Collaboration : Be part of a specialised product focus group, working alongside DXC Microsoft / SAP / Oracle / Salesforce delivery teams and leveraging DXC Global Service Now business groups.
Project Work : Work on projects for some of Australia's largest Service Now clients, leveraging ITOM, ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, GRC, Sec Ops, integrations, custom applications, and other Service Now solutions.
Qualifications and Skills :6+ years of experience in Service Now and delivering robust, best-practice based Service Now implementations.
High proficiency in Javascript, Angular JS, and other Service Now scripting languages.
Experience with Service Now server-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, etc.).
Strong skills in working with Development APIs.
Expertise in Service Now automation, integrations via Service Now Orchestration and Web Services.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence and consult, providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders.
Ability to articulate technical solutions clearly to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team effectively.
Service Now certifications, including at least two full learning path certifications in ITSM & ITOM / ITAM, or certifications in ITSM / GRC / HRSD.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong time management skills.
Experience in conducting design workshops, training, and engaging with C-level stakeholders.
Experience working within agile/scrum development environments.
Proven experience in integrating complex data sources like Entra ID, Workday, SAP, as well as BAU integrations like LDAP, email, e-bonding.
Experience in understanding and capturing business requirements, streamlining processes, and deploying Service Now capabilities using agile methodologies.
