A unique opportunity has become available for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing Melbourne Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team.

Key responsibilities Provide strategic advice to clients from a range of industries on public and private company mergers, acquisitions and divestments, private equity, strategic capital raisings and IPOs Prepare financial models and valuation materials Prepare and review detailed financial analysis to illustrate key business drivers and performance indicators Active participation in business development activities, including preparation of proposals, building relationships with existing and target clients, and establishing professional networks Skills and experience Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s) Significant experience gained in a corporate finance environment Commercial acumen including strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills Problem-solving skills, approaching challenges with a solutions-focused mindset Effective written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to manage a high-performing team and build positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders at all levels Intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge or interest in learning data visualisation tools If you're interested in this role but don't feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.
