Our client is looking for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel for their Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety Team.
The WRES team currently represents a strong client base across a range of sectors on high-profile matters.
In this senior role, the successful candidate will need to advise on all aspects of industrial relations, including employment, discrimination, WHS, whistleblowing, and modern slavery, including litigation across various Courts and Tribunals.
Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety The Sydney WRES team undertakes incredibly sophisticated matters and are a go-to team for large organisations with complex workplace needs.
Working with some of Australia's leading Lawyers, the successful candidate will work on: The full spectrum of the employment relationship, from engagement through to performance and conduct management, and termination.
All facets of employment law, industrial relations, discrimination, work health and safety, executive remuneration and diversity.
Matters for clients include many international and ASX 200 listed companies, governments and private sector organisations.
Position Requirements This major law firm is looking to hire an outstanding Senior Associate or Special Counsel with a minimum of 8 years PQE .
They will also need the following: Strong experience working across a range of employment law and industrial relations matters, gained within a reputable commercial law firm.
Demonstrated capability to work autonomously as well as within a team to manage a robust and diverse workload.
Experience in the supervision and mentoring of junior staff.
A high degree of initiative, dedication and commitment to client service.
Strong communication skills and practical problem-solving skills.
A desire to develop and participate in business development initiatives, including seminars and publishing articles.
A proactive attitude towards personal development to expand your skills and knowledge to meet client needs.
