As part of this offering, our headspace service is committed to facilitating excellence in integrated holistic healthcare and support for young people aged 12 to 25 years.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced General Practitioner to bring their private practice through our doors and experience a unique and deeply rewarding primary health care setting.
With 360 Health and Community as lead agency, headspace Fremantle, headspace Rockingham and headspace Mandurah provide a familiar, accessible and safe space for young people to access a range of mental health services and supports.
As a private practice GP in one of our headspace centres you will provide all of the services you would expect from a regular practice in a comfortable consulting room under the headspace roof.
You'll be working collaboratively with the young person's multidisciplinary care team which may include Social Worker, Counsellor, Psychologist, and a variety of other service providers.

Our centres are open from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and to 6.30pm on select days.
Flexible days and times are available for your practice, up to 7.5 hours per week.
Remuneration structure will be based on the GP taking home 100% of MBS Bulk Billings.

Essential Criteria:

FRACGP membership and current VR General Practitioner AHPRA registration
Full Medicare billing rights
Are current and committed to maintaining CPD
Hold professional indemnity insurance of not less than $5 M for any one claim
Have the ability to provide person-centred, non-judgemental, professional care in a hosted practice setting
Can work collaboratively within a close-knit team environment and with other community services
Are able to engage warmly and professionally with people as they are and provide a culturally safe experience for all patients and carers
