This role offers you the chance to collaborate with industry partners and cultivate interdisciplinary research links, all while working in a world-class academic environment.Your responsibilities will include: Deliver High-Quality Education: Develop and teach engaging undergraduate and graduate courses in cost management and quantity surveying, incorporating innovative teaching methods.
Conduct Impactful Research: Produce high-quality publications, secure external funding, and supervise research students in your area of expertise.
Foster Industry Connections: Cultivate research links with industry partners and professional bodies, contributing to the Faculty's engagement with the broader community.
Contribute to Faculty Leadership: Participate in planning, committee work, and administrative tasks to support the Faculty's strategic goals.
You may be a great fit if:You are an accomplished scholar or professional in cost management or quantity surveying, with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and a proven research track record or potential.You may also: Hold a Ph D in a relevant field or be close to completion.
Have experience in teaching and curriculum development at the university level.
Possess expertise in traditional construction cost-related areas and an interest in BIM technology.
Demonstrate a record of quality research publications or industry collaborations.
Be eligible for membership in professional bodies such as AIQS or RICS.
Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
