
Senior Policy Officer

Role Responsibilities Lead the development of evidence-based policy and provide clear, well-structured advice to support decision-making.
Independently undertake complex research and analysis, identifying and responding to current and emerging issues strategically.
Demonstrate strong policy development and implementation skills, excellent written communication, and organisational ability.
Prioritise and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
Apply critical thinking and experience with government processes.
Qualifications and Experience Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in economics, law, or an energy-related field (highly desirable).
Experience with government policy development and delivery (desirable).
Knowledge of electricity and gas retail markets, energy retail pricing, or consumer energy frameworks and protections (highly desirable).
Additional Information Two fixed-term roles available until 31 December 2026.
Flexible work location within Victoria, with hybrid arrangements available.
