Award/Classification: Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 6Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 pro rata, per annum Employment type: Full Time Region: North Location: We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce by planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating education programs in the clinical setting/ward/unit.The Team:The Emergency Department (ED) team within Hospitals North plays a critical role in providing immediate, life-saving care to the community.
The team works collaboratively to assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions, ensuring timely and effective treatment for patients.The Role:Develop and deliver clinical education programs.Support staff in clinical competency development and assessments.Ensure compliance with current healthcare standards and practices.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.Mentor and guide nursing staff in professional development.Minimum Requirements:Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse, with a requirement to maintain current and valid registration at all times.Demonstrated experience and high-level knowledge in clinical nursing practice, along with the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate professional development, education, and training programs in a clinical setting.Sound knowledge of contemporary education theories and healthcare professional development trends.Details of appointment:Multiple permanent, full-time positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team.Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (Pro rata).
